Witnessed by Ambassador Maura Connelly, a Sub-Agreement was signed on May26, 2011 between USAID and LCD for a grant of 250,000 USD, to stimulate economic growth and promote employment generation activities in Lebanese Agribusiness, Tourism and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) industry sectors operating in rural and peri-urban areas in Lebanon (all areas in Lebanon excluding Greater Beirut).

The lottery draw was held April 14, 2001 and yielded the following results:

The first prize :
A BMW 318I 2001model, was won by the holder no 7379 ,(Mrs Maria Kazan Salamé)

The second prize :
A TV Samsung 61 Inch , was won by the holder no 8405

The third prize :
A necklace of platinum and diamonds, offered by Messrs Tufenkjian, was won by the holder no 6516 sold through Mr. Joe Halabi
